Pilates is a universal language – so don’t be afraid to join our classes even if you're not a Czech or English speaker. Your health, comfort, and safety are our top priorities. After each class, clients are asked to thoroughly wipe down their reformer beds using clinically tested, professional-grade disinfectant wipes provided by the studio. This ensures a clean and safe environment for everyone.

Can I start Reformer Pilates if I haven’t done it before getting pregnant?
Yes, you can start Reformer Pilates as a beginner during pregnancy. It’s important to begin with basic classes and inform your instructor about your pregnancy so they can tailor the exercises to your needs and ensure safety.
Can I continue Reformer Pilates after getting pregnant?
Yes, with some pregnancy safe adaptations. When it comes to maintaining fitness during pregnancy, Reformer Pilates offers a unique blend of strength, flexibility, and balance. This exercise method, specifically adapted for expectant mothers, provides a comprehensive workout that is both effective and gentle on the body & growing baby.
It’s important to remember that every pregnancy is unique. We strongly advise consulting with your doctor before starting or continuing a Reformer Pilates routine during this time. oveė instructors can also offer a personalized advice to ensure your exercise regimen is safe and suitable for your specific stage of pregnancy and overall health. Please feel free to book your free consultation to discuss your options.
First Trimester:
In the early weeks, it’s generally safe to continue with your regular Pilates routine with some modifications. The focus should be on exercises that strengthen the core, pelvic floor, and back muscles. These areas are crucial for supporting your growing baby and can help alleviate common early pregnancy symptoms like fatigue and nausea. In the early weeks, it’s generally safe to continue with your regular Pilates routine with no or minor modifications.
Second & Third Trimester:
As your belly grows, you’ll need to make more modifications to your routine. Avoid exercises that require lying on your back or stomach. Instead, opt for side-lying or seated positions that are more comfortable and safe for you and your baby.
If you plan to continue your Pilates routine by attending our general classes, we offer private prenatal/postpartum modification sessions, so you can enjoy a Reformer class with pregnancy safe adaptations. We recommend that you book one of these classes before attending a standard Reformer class whilst pregnant.
