FAQs

  • Our classes are designed to suit everybody, whether you’ve tried Reformer Pilates before or you’re brand new. If you are new to Reformer workouts, we recommend you book into a Foundation class. This is a group class with more focus on your individual needs, taught at a pace that allows you to get to know the equipment and principles or our flows.

  • We suggest wearing comfortable, form-fitting clothing that allows for movement, ideally with some stretch. Avoid clothing with zippers or buttons. Grippy socks are mandatory for each flow and available to purchase at the studio. Our studio is shoe-free, with designated areas to leave your footwear.

  • Please arrive at least 10 minutes early for your first class so that you can get to know the studio, your instructor and the Reformer. Due to safety reasons you can not join a class without having received proper instructions first.

  • You’ll find oveė studio inside the Energy Shopping Center, located between Drogerie Teta and Lidl.

Pilates is a universal language – so don’t be afraid to join our classes even if you're not a Czech or English speaker. Most of our teachers speak Czech and English (among other languages), and they use clear body language and demonstrations during class, so everyone can follow along and feel comfortable. We welcome clients from all backgrounds and will make sure you feel at home in our studio.

  • Your health, comfort, and safety are our top priorities. After each class, clients are asked to thoroughly wipe down their reformer beds using clinically tested, professional-grade disinfectant wipes provided by the studio. This ensures a clean and safe environment for everyone.

To maintain hygiene and protect the soft surfaces of the reformer machines, grippy socks are required during all classes. Barefoot training is not allowed. Grip socks not only help keep the equipment clean, but also provide extra stability and reduce the risk of slipping during your workout.

Can I continue Reformer Pilates after getting pregnant?

Yes, with some pregnancy safe adaptations. When it comes to maintaining fitness during pregnancy, Reformer Pilates offers a unique blend of strength, flexibility, and balance. This exercise method, specifically adapted for expectant mothers, provides a comprehensive workout that is both effective and gentle on the body & growing baby.

It’s important to remember that every pregnancy is unique. Please feel free to book your free consultation to discuss your options.

    First Trimester:

In the early weeks, it’s generally safe to continue with your regular Pilates routine with some modifications. The focus should be on exercises that strengthen the core, pelvic floor, and back muscles. These areas are crucial for supporting your growing baby and can help alleviate common early pregnancy symptoms like fatigue and nausea. In the early weeks, it’s generally safe to continue with your regular Pilates routine with no or minor modifications.

    Second & Third Trimester:

As your belly grows, you’ll need to make more modifications to your routine. Avoid exercises that require lying on your back or stomach. Instead, opt for side-lying or seated positions that are more comfortable and safe for you and your baby.

If you plan to continue your Pilates routine by attending our general classes, we offer private prenatal/postpartum modification sessions, so you can enjoy a Reformer class with pregnancy safe adaptations. We recommend that you book one of these classes before attending a standard Reformer class whilst pregnant.
