Who we are

At oveė studio

We believe in the transformative power of mindful movement and healing power of community. Our studio is a space for you to connect with your body and mind, offering a unique experience that goes beyond traditional fitness.

Our studio

Is named after a poetic metre used in Hindu culture as means of passing life experiences about attachment, love and homage through generations.

We believe that wellness extends beyond just exercise. Our studio design, classes and social events are designed to foster a strong sense of community and inner balance, creating a holistic experience for our members.

Maria

FOUNDER & LEAD PILATES INSTRUCTOR

My Pilates journey began in Manchester, UK, where my husband and I spent several years navigating the corporate world. Seeking an escape from the office hustle, I yearned for an exercise that resonated with my heartbeat—dynamic, challenging, yet mindful and calming. As an expat, I also craved community bonds and the opportunity to share life experiences with like-minded individuals while engaging in something that brought me joy: Pilates.

I discovered this sense of connection at a Manchester Pilates studio, where I first tried the reformer. Instantly captivated, I found that the reformer provided the perfect blend of challenge for building strength and endurance while allowing me to disconnect from the relentless corporate buzz. It was a transformative experience that deepened my connections with others.

Upon moving back to Prague, I realized there was a gap for a similar concept—a serene and healing sanctuary for those seeking balance and community. This inspired me to create a space where people could cultivate new habits centered around mindful exercise, a healthy lifestyle, and mindfulness.

I dream of building a welcoming studio that not only offers exceptional Pilates classes but also fosters a strong sense of community, where everyone can come together to share, grow, and thrive.

Tereza

SENIOR PILATES INSTRUCTOR

Hi, I’m Tereza. I’m 29 years old, and I first discovered Pilates Reformer in Australia, where I completely fell in love with it. But it was never just a workout—coming into the studio felt like coming home. I suddenly felt like I belonged and became part of a community.

Inspired by the amazing teachers I met, I knew that Pilates was something I wanted to keep in my life, even after returning home—to keep that Australian dream alive!

What I love most about Pilates is the way it connects the body and mind. Lately, as I navigate a challenging period in my life, it’s become even more important—it gives me space to switch off, find calm, and reconnect with myself. It’s where I can slow down, breathe deeply, and rebuild strength from the inside out

Although I’ve been teaching Pilates for a relatively short time, I bring a lot of care and intention into every class. My priority is to create a welcoming and inclusive space where clients feel safe, supported, and truly seen. I believe that Pilates should meet you where you are—whether you’re a complete beginner or returning after a break—so I take the time to understand each client’s individual needs, goals, and limitations.

My teaching style is calm, encouraging, and focused on mindful movement. I love guiding people through exercises that not only build strength and control, but also help them feel more connected to their own bodies. My goal is for each person to leave feeling stronger, more balanced, and more in tune with themselves—physically and mentally.

Helia

PILATES INSTRUCTOR

Hi my name is Helia!! Persian roots, Dubai raised and been calling Prague my home since 2017.

I’m a doctor by profession (dermatologist), but my true passion lies in movement and wellness. I love anything and everything that gets people moving their bodies and reconnecting with themselves, whether it’s Pilates, the gym, or just a good dance in the kitchen.

I’m all about making movement feel less like a chore and more like a celebration and a way of honoring the body that carries us through life.
